Ep. 31 - Tulku Sherdor
Lama Tulku Sherdor began studying Buddhist meditation in his late teens. Over the years, he was fortunate to study with great Buddhist masters including His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and his first root teacher Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche.
He was also a student and translator for Orgyen Kusum Lingpa for the last 12 years of Orgyen Kusum Lingpa’s life.
Lama Tulku Sherdor completed a 3+ year Lama retreat, and a year-long solitary retreat.
I was lucky enough to hear about his experiences with these great Lamas - and what it’s like to be in retreat for that period of time.
Lama Tulku Sherdor also worked as an attorney for several top law firms in the US representing Fortune 500 companies, as well as many high powered, wealthy individuals.
He is a renowned scholar, a teacher and an interpreter of Tibetan Buddhist teachings into English. I hope that you will be inspired by him, as I was.
