Ep. 20 - Rabbi Daniel Liben

My guest today is Rabbi Daniel Liben, the spiritual leader of Temple Israel of Natick, Massachusetts.  I spoke with him on the first day of his retirement after serving that congregation for 30 years.

In addition to being a pulpit rabbi for many years, He taught meditation to Rabbis at the Institute for Jewish Spirituality.  He also teaches Israeli Folk Dancing – weekly – to his congregants.

Dan introduced the exploration of “prayer as a spiritual practice” and it is a cornerstone of his Rabbinic work.  

Dan and I met over 40 years ago and I was very excited to speak with him and  learn from his years of wisdom.
